Girl’s Trip breakout star Tiffany Haddish will be joining Kevin Hart in the upcoming Universal Pictures comedy, Night School. Hart will produce the feature via his Hartbeat Productions banner alongside Will Packer with Will Packer Productions, who is working via his Will Packer Productions. Malcolm D. Lee is set to direct the feature. The comedy follows a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes in the long-shot chance they’ll pass the GED exam. The project marks the reunion of the star, director and producer of the Ride Along and Think Like a Man franchises.
Haddish rocketed to fame this Summer with her comedic breakout performance in the Universal hit Girl’s Trip alongside Regina Hall, Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith. She is releasing her first stand-up special, Tiffany Haddish: She Ready! From The Hood to Hollywood, on Showtime this Friday. Haddish will next be seen in the upcoming TBS series The Last O.G. starring opposite Tracy Morgan. She is represented by APA, Principato-Young Entertainment and Del, Shaw.
