Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter Adele will hit the Las Vegas stage beginning January 2022. According to Variety, the singing sensation announced an exclusive residency in the Colosseum of Las Vegas’ famed Caesars Palace Hotel beginning Friday January 21, 2022. Titled “Weekends With Adele,” the singer will perform two shows each weekend through Saturday April 16, 2022 for a total of 12 weeks.
This announcement comes on the heels of the singer’s fourth studio album, “30,” on Columbia Records, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this week with by far the year’s biggest first-week numbers, around 839,000 units. It is debuted at No. 1 on album charts in 30 countries and is already one of the biggest selling albums of 2021.
Adele’s album 30 album which was released on November 19, 2021 charted Billboard with the biggest week of 2021, and lead single “Easy on Me” just rebounded for a fifth week atop the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. The song reigns as the most-streamed and top-selling song of the week — and, for the first time, the most-heard hit on radio.
