An open casting call has been scheduled seeking background actors for the new Spike Lee joint. Spike Lee, the acclaimed filmmaker known for his bold storytelling that is infused with social commentary, has a rich history spanning decades of diverse projects. From his groundbreaking debut feature “She’s Gotta Have It” in 1986, which challenged conventional narratives of black sexuality, to his powerful exploration of racial tensions in “Do the Right Thing” (1989), Lee has consistently pushed boundaries and sparked important conversations.
Production is currently tight-lipped about the details of this upoming feature but most of filming is said to take plae in Brooklyn, New York. This is where the casting call will be held. They are seeking men, women and children, all ages, genders and types are welcome.
