An open casting call has gone out seeking people to work as extras and standins for the upcoming Universal Pictures feature Jurassic World 3. According to Deadline, Universal is bringing back it’s original stars from the first installment Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum who will star alongside Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. Colin Trevorrow is back to direct and production starts the end of this month.
The last Jurassic World, directed by J.A. Bayona, ended with the revived beasts finding their way off the island and into civilization which is likely where the the next installment will begin. Steven Spielberg will also return to as executive producer alongside Trevorrow, while Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are producing. Filming will take place in Merritt, British Colombia and applicants must be available for one to two days between February 25 to March 6. Applications are due on February 21.
The casting director is seeking men and woman, ages 25 to 65 to play mill workers, fishermen and townspeople. Those interested can apply online at www.freemancasting.com.
