Production is currently underway on Ryan Murphy‘s last anthology series “Feud: Capote’s Women“. A casting call has gone out seeking various types to work on the series. The new season will follow the story of Truman Capote and his coterie of socialites that he dubbed his “swans.” Two of them will be played by Demi Moore and Chloë Sevigny. Also set to co-star in the series are Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, Molly Ringwald and Calista Flockhart. Capote will be played by Tom Hollander and Gus Van Sant will direct.
Filming will take place in and around the NYC areas. The casting director is currently seeking the following to worl ont he series as paid background and possible featured talent:
- HAIRDRESSERS – Seeking experienced male hair dressers. Must be okay with possible hair or facial hair cut to achieve 1960’s look. Please list your experience in body of email. Please put “REAL HAIRDRESSERS” in email subject line.
- MANHATTANITES – Seeking Men and Women, Any ethnicity, Ages 18+ to portray 1960’s & 70’s sophisticated Manhattan socialite and wealthy types. No visible tattoos. Please put “FEUD BACKGROUND” in email subject line.
- MOURNERS – Seeking NONUNION Men to portray Mourners. Must have appropriate hair/facial hair for the 70s. Must be ok receiving a 1970s appropriate haircut if needed. FITTING: Wednesday October 19th (Steiner Studios). COVID TEST: Tuesday October 18th. Work Date: Monday November 7th. Please put put “MOURNER” in the email subject line.
