Production is set to get underway shortly on the third installment of the upcoming horror film franchise The Conjuring 3. The film stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ingrid Bisu, Ashley LeConte Campbell, Andrea Andrade, and Keith Arthur Bolden. Unlike the first two films which were directed by James Wan, who also co-wrote the second installment in the series, he will not direct this project and Michael Chaves has stepped in to replace Wan. While the plot for this particular installment is being kept under wraps, one rumor regarding the storyline is that it is based on the 1981 ‘devil made me do it’ trial.
The casting director is seeking various types to work on the project as background and featured extras and stand-ins. Filming is taking place in and around the Atlanta, GA area.
