Production is currently underway on the upcoming HBO drama series The Time Traveler’s Wife, based on the novel by Audrey Niffenegger. Set to star are Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones) and Theo James (The Witcher). The series is set to be written by Steven Moffat. Adapted by former Dr. Who head writer and Sherlock co-creator Steven Moffat, The Time Traveler’s Wife tells the intricate love story of Clare (Leslie) and Henry (James), and a marriage with a problem… time travel.
Production is taking place in and around the NYC area. The casting director is currently seeking the following to work on the series as paid background, standins, photo doubles and possible featured talent:
- FEATURED DAUGHTER – Seeking SAG/NU Caucasian Girls ages 5-6 with dark curly hair to portray a Featured Daughter of Principal actor. Works 9/2 & 9/22. COVID tests: 9/1 & 9/21 in Queens.
- LGBTQ COLLEGE STUDENTS – Seeking SAG & NON UNION people in the LGTBQ+ community to portray college students. Tentative shoot date MONDAY 7/26. Covid test Saturday 7/24. Possible future dates on the show as well. Please put “FACEBOOK 7/26 College Students” in email subject line.
- PREGNANT WOMEN SHOPPING – Seeking SAG/NU Women (all ethnicity, 18-45) to portray Real Visibly Pregnant Women shopping at a dept store. Tentatively films 8/9, with a COVID test 8/6. Please put “FACEBOOK, Real Pregnant Women 8/9” in email subject line.
Tests will be provided by production and paid as $100 stipend for SAG, $30 stipend for Non-Union. Masks are required at all times whenever not on camera but not when filming.
