Production is currently underway on the Gulfstream Pictures romantic comedy feature film The Last Summer. A casting call has gone out seeking talent to work as paid extras and possible featured talent. Set to star in the film are K.J Apa, Gabrielle Anwar, Ed Quinn & Maia Mitchell. The story follows a group of recent high school graduates during the summer before they all leave for college. Mike Karz and Wayne Rice will produce The Last Summer, with Barbara McCarthy serving as the casting director. Principal photography began back in April. Filming will take place in Chicago, Ill and is set to get started this month.
The casting director is currently seeking the following to work on the film as paid background talent and possible featured talent:
- MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYERS – Male, all ethnicities, Ages: 18-35. You MUST have real experience playing baseball, on a team, as an adult. In your email, list all of your baseball experience including the position(s) you play, how long you have played for, and what leagues or teams you are currently on. Works 6/15.
- MAJOR LEAGUE COACHES – Male, all ethnicities, Ages: 40-60. Real coaching experience preferred. Works 6/15.
- MAJOR LEAGUE UMPIRE – Male, all ethnicities, Ages: 30-60. Real experience as an umpire is preferred. Works 6/15.
