Now Casting Comedy Feature ‘Summer Camp’

summer camp movie casting call

Production is set to get underway shortly on the upcoming comedy feature film “Summer Camp” starring Diane Keaton, Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodward. According to Deadline, the film heading into production in North Carolina in April tells the story of Nora, Ginny and Mary, who have been best friends since childhood, spending their summers together inseparably at sleepaway camp. As the years have passed, they’ve seen each other less and less, so when the chance to reunite for a summer camp reunion arises, they all take it, some begrudgingly and others, excitedly. Each of their lives might not be where they’d imagined, but one thing is for sure — Nora, Ginny, and Mary need each other, and summer camp reminds them why. The feature is written and directed by Castille Landon.

Filming will be taking place in and around the Asheville, NC area beginning in early April through the month of May. An announcement was made that said they are seeking area locals to portray paid background and possible featured talent.
