Equity Singers Needed for Broadway’s ‘Beautiful’

Seeking equity male and female singers for possible future ensemble replacements in the currently running Broadway tour production of Beautiful.

BREAKDOWN:

  • MALE ENSEMBLE
    Characters are 20’s – Mid 30’s. Seeking extremely strong singers to portray various roles throughout the show, including Neil Sedaka, The Drifters, The Righteous Brothers & Lou Adler. *Especially interested in African American singers of all voice types and Caucasian singers who are either high rock tenors or low bass/baritones.
  • FEMALE ENSEMBLE
    Characters are 20’s – Mid 30’s. Seeking extremely strong singers to portray various roles throughout the show, including The Shirelles, Little Eva, Betty, Marilyn & Janelle Woods. *Especially interested in African American singers of all voice types and Caucasian singers with either a strong pop/belt or unique folk/rock voice.

Time & Date:  Friday November 30th 2018  @ 10AM for Equity Female Singers  -AND-  2 PM for Equity Male Singers

Chorus rules are in effect. A monitor will be provided. Performers of all ethnic and racial background are encouraged to attend. Please bring equity membership card with you.

Please prepare 16 bars of a pop song from the 1950’s/1960’s. Songs by Carole King, Gerry Goffin, Cynthia Weil & Barry Mann are acceptable. No theatre music please.  Please bring sheet music in the correct key.  No a cappella auditions.  Bring picture and resume.
