Equity Singers & Dancers Needed for ‘Hamilton’ Tour

Casting call seeking equity singers for for various roles in the upcoming  Hamilton (Peggy LLC) tour.   Hamilton is an American sung-through musical, about the life of one of the American-founding fathers, Alexander Hamilton, with music, lyrics and book by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

SEEKING

  • ENSEMBLE DANCERS/ OFFSTAGE SWINGS – Characters are male and female, age 19 to early 30s, all ethnicities. Actors of color strongly encouraged to attend. Amazing dancers, versatile in all forms of contemporary dance. Must sing VERY well and be able to portray various characters in the ensemble. Ensemble and swings will also be considered to potentially understudy principal roles.
  • ENSEMBLE SINGERS/ OFFSTAGE SWINGS – Characters are male and female, age 19 to early 30s, all ethnicities. Actors of color strongly encouraged to attend. Amazing, versatile singers/actors who move very well. MUST BE ABLE TO RAP WELL! Will portray various characters in the ensemble and potentially understudy principal roles..

 

 

Time & Date:  Tuesday May 22nd 2018 at 10:30AM for Female Singers and 2:00 PM for Male Singers. 

Wednesday May 23rd  2018 at 10:00 AM for Female Dancers ~AND~  2:00 PM for Male Dancers

Singers please prepare 16 bars of a pop/rock song that shows your style and vocal range. Bring sheet music and a photo/resume stapled together. A piano accompanist will be provided.

MALE DANCERS should bring hip hop shoes/sneakers, jazz/character shoes, and knee pads. EVERYONE should bring a picture/resume stapled together and sheet music of a pop/rock song if you are asked to stay and sing.

FEMALE DANCERS should bring hip hop shoes/sneakers and character shoes/heels. EVERYONE should bring a picture/resume stapled together and sheet music of a pop/rock song if you are asked to stay and sing.
