Casting is now underway for the upcoming Universal Pictures-Blumhouse politically-charged action thriller The Hunt. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Hunt is a subversive feature that takes its cues from the current political climate in America — elevating the current conflict between right and left wings to a more extreme, and violent, level.
Craig Zobel is directing The Hunt from a script by Damon Lindelof — co-creator of Lost and The Leftovers — and Nick Cuse. (The trio also worked together on the two TV shows.) The film is scheduled for release on September 27th 2019.
Filming will be taking place in the Greater New Orleans, Louisiana area beginning this month. The casting directors at Central Casting are seeking the following to work in the film as paid background actors, standins, photo doubles and possible featured talent:
- MILITARY SECRETARIES – Seeking submissions from WOMEN over 18. Must be able to portray Caucasian ethnicity. Must be able to portray 20’s-30’s age range.
- REFUGEE KIDS: Seeking submissions for toddlers 2-5 years old who appear to be Middle Eastern to work as refugee kids in a refugee camp!
These categories will be PICTURE-PICKED by the director!!
