A casting call has gone out seeking talent to work on the upcoming TNT drama pilot series Beast Mode. The series which is said to be inspired by the life of legendary boxing trainer Ann Wolfe, will star Anika Noni Rose, Geffri Maya, Chante Adams. Tina Mabry (Dear White People, The Mayor, Insecure, Pose and Power) will direct. Filming will take place in Atlanta and Decatur, GA and is scheduled to begin the end of January through February.
The casting director is currently seeking men and women to work on the series as paid background extras, stand-ins, photo doubles and possible featured talent. At the present time, they are seeking the following:
- MALE BOXING FANS – Seeking male boxing event attendees, Ages 18+, all ethnicities, to portray fans at a boxing fight. Works 2/12. Please put “TUES FIGHT”
- TWIN GIRLS – Seeking olive skin toned twin girls. Ages 2-4, to work as photo-doubles. Must have a very open & flexible schedule and be able to work multiple days from 1/28 – 2/14. Please put “TODDLER” in the email subject line.
- RING CARD GIRLS – Seeking beautiful women to portray Ring Card Girls in a boxing arena. Height 5’4 – 5’9, dress size 0-6. Must be comfortable in the equivalent of a bikini, or at most, booty shorts. NO TATTOOS! Works Tues Feb 5 + Wed Feb 6. Must be available for both work dates and able to attend a fitting this week. - BOXERS – Seeking Men and Women of all ages with actual boxing experience. Needed to work as paid background actors. If you have videos of your boxing (not mandatory) please include in your email.
