Production is currently underway on the upcoming New Line sequel to the 2019 American superhero film Shazam 2: Fury of The Gods, based on the DC comics character of the same name. The film will star Marta Milans, Zachary Levi, Adam Brody, Helen Mirren, Jack Dylan Grazer, Lucy Liu, Asher Angel and Faithe Herman. David F. Sandberg is back to direct. There’s still not a lot being discussed about the story so far. The cast includes daughters of the titan Atlas as the main villains, which teases the plot is possibly connected to Greek mythology. “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” is scheduled to open on June 2, 2023.
Filming is taking place in and around the Atlanta, GA area. COVID Testing is mandatory. The casting director is seeking various types to work on the film as paid background, standins, and possible featured talent:
