Casting Call for Season 3 of FOX Series STAR
Central Casting is now prepping and taking submissions for season 3 of the hit FOX television musical drama, Star. The series, created by Lee Daniels, premiered on December 14, 2016 on FOX revolves around three talented young singers who navigate the music business on their road to success. The series, which is set in Atlanta, and also films there, consists of original music, along with musical fantasy sequences, as dreams of the future. The series stars Queen Latifah, Benjamin Bratt, Amiyah Scott and Quincy Brown. On May 10, 2018, FOX renewed the series for a second season, which is set to premiere on September 26, 2018.
Casting is currently underway for the upcoming season which went into production this month. As of right now, the casting director is currently looking for the following:
- BUSINESS TYPES – Seeking MEN & WOMEN that are 18 years old or older that appear to be in their 30’s to early 60’s that have nice BUSINESS ATTIRE. Men must be clean shaven or well groomed facial hair. Works 10/23.
- FANS – Seeking MEN & WOMEN that are 18 years old or older that appear to be in their 20’s to 30’s. Works 10/23.
- BLOGGERS – Seeking MEN & WOMEN that are 18 years old or older that appear to be in their 20’s to 30’s that have a working iPhone with a NON-CRACKED SCREEN to portray blogger types. MUST BE AN IPHONE! Works 10/23.
- PRESS – Seeking MEN & WOMEN that are 18 years old or older that appear to be in their 30’s to early 60’s that have nice business causal attire. Men must be clean shaven or well groomed facial hair. Works 10/23.
- SKATERS – Seeking MEN & Women that are 18 years old or older that appear to be in the 20’s to early 50’s that are comfortable skating on 4-wheel/quad roller skates. Works 10/24. IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN SKATES, IT IS A PLUS!!
- SECURITY / BOUNCERS – Seeking Men & women that are over the age of 18 and appear to be in their 20’s to 40’s that have a TOUGH/INTIMIDATING type look. MUST HAVE ALL BLACK SUIT / CLOTHING! MEN: Must be between 5’10 to 6’5, beards are ok! WOMEN: should have more of a rugged look, between 5’5 to 5’9. Work dates: WEDNESDAY 10/10, THURSDAY 10/11, FRIDAY 10/12, SATURDAY 10/13, TUESDAY 10/16 (working possible 5 Days). Make sure you have full availability.
