A casting call has gone out seeking various types to work on the upcoming Netflix action-comedy feature “Back In Action” starring Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx and Glenn Close. According to Deadline, the storyline for the action-comedy is being kept under wraps, but Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) is directing from a script he wrote with Brendan O’Brien’s (Neighbors). The film marks Diaz’s return to acting after retiring from acting in 2018.
Per ScreenDaily, the movie began production at Netflix’s London Shepperton Studios bck inn December 2022 and will finish up in Atlanta, GA from the end of March through mid April. At the present time the casting director is seeking the following to work on the feature as paid background actors, standins, and possible featured talent:
- TEENAGERS – Seeking Younger adult types to portray teens, any ethnicity, any gender, Ages 18 – 25, all types.
- NEIGHBORS – Seeking Men and Women, all types, Ages 18+ to portray neighbor types. If you have a vehicle please include year, make and model in your submission. If you have a dog for a pet include photo in your submission.
- FEMALE SOCCER PLAYERS – Seeking athletic female soccer player types. Ages 18 to 30. If you have experience – they want you!
- COACH AND PARENT TYPES – Seeking Men and Women, Ages 30 and over to portray coach and parent types.
- CLUB GOERS – Seeking Men and Women, fashionable types, Ahes 18+ to portray club goers.

When submitting your photos, please note that all photos must be CURRENTY (within last few weeks, unless you truly look like the photos you have to submit) and all photos MUST BE CLEAR and in focus. Selfies are okay but absolutly no filters! Please send at least one photo NON-smiling, with a pleasant neutral expression, and 1 smiling photo, as well as 1 or 2 full length photos (or at least from the knees up, so we can see you!)
NO hats or sunglasses or other people in your photos!
Vaccinations are not a requirement. COVID testing prior to filming date is mandatory!
