Production is currently underway on the upcoming feature film Dr. Bird’s Advice for Sad Poets. A movie based on a novel by the same name by Evan Roskos where the coming of age story centers on a teen by the name of James Whitman as he tries to discover the cause of his sister being kicked out of the house. He isn’t getting answers from his parents or the principal while teachers often give him conflicting stories. While he discovers the difficulties his sister endured, he learns a little more about himself and is able to see things in a much clearer light. According to IMDB, set to star are Joseph Cross, Heather Graham and Edward Herrmann and will be directed by Yaniv Raz. Filming will take place from April 16th through May 11th in and around the Atlanta, GA area.
The casting director has put out a casting call currently seeking the following to work on the film as paid background and possible featured talent.
