Casting Call for Feature Film I, Tonya
A casting call has gone out seeking submissions for the upcoming feature film biopic “I, Tonya.” The movie will star Margot Robbie as the disgraced figure skater who rises among the ranks at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, but her future in the sport is thrown into doubt when her husband tries to take out her competition, fellow figure skater and eventual Silver Medal winner Nancy Kerrigan in 1994. Craig Gillespie (“Lars and the Real Girl”) will direct. Filming will take place between January-March in the Atlanta, GA area.
The casting directors over at Central Casting are currently seeking the following:
- POLYGRAPH EXAMINER – Clean-cut man or woman, any ethnicity, over the age of 18, to portray a polygraph examiner. We are looking for someone with REAL experience only. Works Friday, February, 2/24. Put POLYGRAPH in the subject line.
- HOTEL GUESTS – Men and women, over the age of 18, any ethnicity. NEW Faces only. Put in the subject line 2/21
- HOTEL BELLMAN – Men, over the age of 18,who appears to be in their 20s, Jacket size 40-42. Must be clean shaven. NEW Faces only. Put in the subject line 2/21
- PRESS/PAPARAZZI – Men and women, any ethnicity, over the age of 18, to portray journalists. People that have worked as press or paparazzi before may submit. Men must be max Jacket size 44 and be clean shaven. Put in the subject line 2/21.
- FBI EMPLOYEES – Men and women, any ethnicity, over the age of 18, to portray FBI employees. Men must be max Jacket size 44 and be clean shaven. Women must be max dress size 8. Must attend a wardrobe fitting on Tuesday. Put in the subject line FBI.
