Grant Wilfley Casting is currently seeking background talent to work on the upcoming 3rd season of the HBO comedy series Divorce. The series stars Emmy winner Sarah Jessica Parker and Thomas Haden Church. On November 2nd, 2018, HBO renewed the show for a third season as the pickup came eight months after the series wrapped it second season.
Season three of Divorce will consist of six episodes — its lowest tally yet. That’s down from 10 and eight in seasons one and two, respectively.
Season three will feature the show’s third different showrunner, as Liz Tuccillo will take over for Jenny Bicks, who replaced Paul Simms. Simms exited after season one, citing creative differences. Bicks also will not return for season three. Filming take place in NYC.
The casting director is currently seeking SAG and Non-Union talent to work as the following:
- BOY – Seeking SAG-AFTRA Caucasian boy (age 5-8) to portray Kid in Laundromat. Works 1/18. Please put “FB Kid” in the email subject line.
- HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL TEAM – Seeking SAG-AFTRA / NON-UNION 14-15 year old girls to portray High School Basketball team. Works 2/14/18 and other TBD dates throughout the filming season. Must have experience playing basketball and have a valid NY work permit and trust account set up. Please put “FACEBOOK BASKETBALL GIRLS 2/14” or “FACEBOOK BASKETBALL TEAM 2/14” (if whole team)
- FEATURED TODDLER – Seeking SAG-AFTRA / NON-UNION 1 – 3 year old Caucasian twin boys with brown or blonde hair to portray Featured Toddler. Works 1/15/18 in Westchester NY with an interview on a TBD date in Long Island City, Queens NEXT WEEK (most likely 1/9, 1/10, or 1/11). Should be comfortable being picked up by principal actor. Must have a valid NY work permit and trust account set up. Please put “FB TWINS” in the email subject line.
