Production is currently underway on Season 2 of the Netflix crime drama series MindHunter. Casting agents are seeking individuals to fill a wide-array of background and possible feature roles. Individuals from all demographics are encouraged to try out, as well as individuals with specialized skills in a wide range of professions. Production of the series is based in Pittsburgh, PA metro area where filming takes place. The series is executive produced by Joe Penhall, David Fincher and Academy Award winner Charlize Theron among others, and debuted worldwide on Netllix on October 13, 2017. The story is set in 1977 in the early days of criminal psychology and criminal profiling, following FBI agents Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany), along with psychologist Wendy Carr (Anna Tory), who originate the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit within the Training Division at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. They interview imprisoned serial killers in order to understand how they think, with the hope of applying this knowledge to solving ongoing cases. Filming starts at the end of May and will continue through the end of July.
