A casting call has gone out for the second season of the FOX television series, The Gifted. Executive produced by Matt Nix for FOX, the series is based on the Marvel Comics X-Men properties. The series stars Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker as ordinary parents who take their family on the run after they discover their children’s mutant abilities. The series also stars Seal Teale, Natalie Alyn Lind, Coby Bell, Jamie Chung, Blair Redford, and Emma Dumont. The Gifted‘s first season aired from October 2, 2017, to January 15, 2018, over 13 episodes. It received mostly positive reviews from critics and “solid” viewership. In January 2018, the series was renewed for a second season.
Filming is taking place in and around the Atlanta, GA area and is set to get started at the end of May and the casting directors are seeking the following to work on the series as paid background extras, stand-ins and possible featured talent:
- MUTANT MEN & WOMEN – Seeking Men and Women, over the age of 18, appear 20s-50s. No SPFX required. New faces only. Possible recurring roles. Works 7/9. Please put “7.9” in the subject line.
- MENTAL INSTITUTION STAFF – Seeking Men over the age of 18, appear 20s-50, think Doctors, Nurses, Admin types. Men must be willing to be clean shaven. No visible tattoos. Works Thursday July 5th, Friday July 6th, July Monday 9th. Please put STAFF 3-DAY in the email subject line.
- SECURITY GUARDS – Seeking Men, over the age of 18, ~5’10”-6’1”, strong/athletic/ muscular build. Must be willing to be clean shaven. No visible tattoos. Works Thursday July 5th, Friday July 6th, July Monday 9th. Please put STAFF 3-DAY in the email subject line.
- NEWBORN BABIES – Seeking CAUCASIAN looking newborn babies who appear 4 MONTHS or YOUNGER. They are looking for single babies or TWINS! Work date will be July 16th in the Atlanta area. Please put INFANT TWINS in the email subject line.
- PEDESTRIANS W/CARS – Seeking Men and Women, over the age of 18, appear Hispanic, to work with their car. Looking for DARK COLORED cars or SUVs. Cars should be in good condition, 2008 or newer. When submitting, include the make, model, year, color, and photo of your car. Please Put “car 27” in the subject line.
- EXPERIENCED PHOTOGRAPHERS – Seeking men and women (20’s-40’s) with photography experience to portray photographers. All ethnicities encouraged to submit. Works 6/26. Must have full day availability- no schedule conflicts. New faces only- please remember that you cannot have worked on Heaven Season 2 before. Please put “PHOTOGRAPHER” in the subject line.
