A casting call has gone out for the upcoming Paramount Pictures, Will Packer comedy film, What Men Want. According to Deadline, it’s said that the film is inspired by the 2000 Nancy Meyers romantic comedy What Women Want, which starred Mel Gibson. The original story follows a chauvinistic executive gains the ability to hear what women are really thinking after getting into an accident. This film will star Taraji P. Henson, Tracy Morgan and Aldis Hodge and it’s said the story will follow a woman who is boxed out by the male sports agents in her profession, but gains an unexpected edge over them when she develops the ability to hear their thoughts. James Lopez and Taraji P. Henson will executive produce alongside Will Packer. Adam Shankman will direct.
Filming will be taking place in Atlanta and Decatur areas and the casting directors are currently seeking the following to work on the feature as paid background and possible featured talent.
- AFRICAN-AMERICAN FEMALE w/YOUTHFUL APPEARANCE – Seeking African-American Female, Ages 30-42, with her real hair, OR nicely blended extensions that hair department can style. Absolutely no wigs!
