Casting Call for Disney’s The Jungle Cruise

Production is scheduled to get underway shortly on the upcoming Disney feature film The Jungle Cruise. The movie which will star Dwayne “Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt is  based on the famous classic theme park attraction, which operates in several Disney Parks across the globe and takes guests on a guided tour through the rivers of the world. According to Variety, Jaume Collet-Serra is on board to direct t and Oscar nominee Michael Green (“Logan”) penned the most recent draft of the script.  Filming will officially begin in May in parts of the Atlanta, GA area and will continue through July/August.

This is a period piece that takes place in the early 1900’s.  A casting call went our early this week seeking men, women and children, Ages 0 to 80, of South American descent (PERU , BRAZIL, ECUADOR, & COLOMBIA, etc.)  to play indigenous types for very fun  and key set scenes in the movie.  Real families are welcomed.
