Open Casting Call for Motley Crue Biopic ‘The Dirt’

An open casting call has gone out seeking men and women to work as paid background talent on the upcoming Netflix rocker biopic The Dirt. The feature is based on the best-selling memoir of the same name about top rock band Mötley Crüe.  The Dirt will receive the rock biopic it deserves with an all-star cast (rapper Machine Gun Kelly, Douglas Booth, Daniel Webber, Iwan Rheon and Tony Cavalero)  to relive the madness that the band was able to concoct onstage and behind-the-scenes. The feature started pre-production last month and is currently filming in the greater New Orleans area.

Central Casting Louisiana has put out an open casting call seeking Men and Women, 18+ to play rocker and groupie types. No experience required.

According to their facebook page posting, right now, they are asking for people who aren’t registered to come in and register with Central Casting Louisiana at their location:  1450 Poydras St #1420, New Orleans, LA 70112  Every Monday and Thursday at AM or 2PM

Please bring proper identification with you (at least two forms of ID) to fill out the I-9 forms. If you are a member of SAG/AFTRA please bring your card with you as well.

**They are specifically looking for men and women with various 1980’s music scene looks to play the following:

  • HOUSE PARTY GUESTS –Seeking Caucasian/Hispanic MALES & FEMALES (Males: waist sizes 31-36 and heights between 5’6-6’1.Must be clean shaven) & (Females with sizes 2-8 and heights between 5’4-5’10, must have natural-looking nails/hair. No extensions, bright colors or acrylic nails.) for a GREAT PARTY SCENE.  Works 4/16 & 4/17. Must be available BOTH days! Please put “HOT GUY” or “HOT GIRL” in the email subject line.
  • LITTLE PEOPLE – Seeking Little People, Male, to portray security guards. Maximum height of 4’9. All ethnicities welcome! Include your measurement sizes in your email. Please put “Security17” in the subject line.
  • LIMO/ TAXI DRIVERS – Seeking Males, any ethnicity, 40’s to 50’s looking age range, clean cut clean shaven. Must be a confident driver with a valid Driver’s License. No Visible tattoos.
  • HOTEL STAFF – Seeking Caucasian FEMALE, age 20’s to 30’s. **Must be available for a FITTING on Wednesday, 4/4 (fitting rate: $20/2). Works 4/5
  • OLDER WEALTHY COUPLE – Caucasian male and female, age 50’s to 60’s, Classic looks, clean shaven. **Must be available for a FITTING on Wednesday, 4/4 (fitting rate: $20/2).** Please submit individually.
  • DRIVERS – Any ethnicity, age 20’s to 50’s. Facial hair is okay. **Please list Year/Color/Make/Model of your vehicle, and include photos of it. Also, please note that this film is set in the ‘80’s, so cars should fit that time period.** Car rate TBD.  Works 4/6.
  • COP –  Seeking Caucasian, MALE, age 30’s to 40’s, clean shaven. **Must be available for a possible FITTING on Thursday, 4/5 (fitting rate: $20/2). Works 4/6
  • FIREFIGHTERS – Seeking Caucasian/Hispanic/African American, MALE, age 30’s to 40’s, clean shaven. **Must be available for a possible FITTING on Thursday, 4/5 (fitting rate: $20/2). Works 4/6.
  • REAL PARAMEDIC – (higher rate: $150/8): Seeking Caucasian/Hispanic/African American, MALE, age 30’s to 40’s, clean shaven. **Must be available for a possible FITTING on Thursday, 4/5 (fitting rate: $20/2).** Please note your experience in your submission. Works 4/6
  • ARENA SECURITY – Seeking Caucasian/Hispanic/African American, MALE, age 20’s to 40’s, clean shaven. **Must fit pant sizes 31 – 38, and be available for a possible FITTING on Thursday or Friday of this week (fitting rate: $20/2). Works 4/9 and 4/10
  • BACKSTAGE TYPES – Seeking Caucasian/Hispanic/African American, MALE or FEMALE, age 20’s to 50’s, facial hair is okay. **Must be available for a possible FITTING on Thursday or Friday of this week (fitting rate: $20/2). Works 4/9 and 4/10
  • CONCERT GOERS – Seeking Men and Women, Any ethnicity, age 18 to 60’s to play concert goers. Works 4/10
