Production is now underway on the upcoming Paramount Pictures comedy, Instant Family. A casting call has gone out seeking local talent to work as paid background extra on the film. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg, Rose Byrne, Tig Notaro, and Octavia Spencer. The story is about a couple who decide to start a family and adopt through the foster-care system, only to find themselves raising three wild kids who have no interest in being parented. Sean Anders who helmed “Daddy’s Home” and John Morris wrote “Instant Family” and will produce alongside Wahlberg and Steve Levinson.
Filming is taking place in Atlanta, GA and the casting director is currently seeking the following types to work as paid background, photo doubles and possible featured talent:
- KIDS/TEENS FOR AMUSEMENT PARK SCENE -Seeking Teens and Kids Ages 6 to 17 and Ages 18 to 26 WHO CAN PASS FOR TEENS, ANY ethnicity. This is for a fun amusement park scene. (hint hint, at a very popular amusement park…with flags) Works 4/25. New faces preferred. Please put “COTTON CANDY” into the email subject line.
- PARENTS WITH KIDS – Seeking Men and Women ages 30 to 50 and Kids Ages 5 to 9 only for small courtroom scene. Any ethnicity. REAL FAMILIES and Solo submissions are being accepted. Blue collar and working class types are encouraged to apply. They especially need a women, age 35 to 45 that is a good actor and can cry on cue. Works 4/20.
