An open casting call has gone out seeking men and women of all ethnicities to work on the upcoming ABC pilot drama series, For Love. According to Variety, the series is described as an epic love triangle set against a grounded, secret world of magic in present day New Orleans. In the show, protagonist Hope Castille is shocked when she gets a call from her fiancé–five years after he was killed. Michael Cooney will write and executive produce with Kim Moses also executive producing. Cooney has previously written several features, including “Identity,” “Jack Frost,” and “Jack Frost 2: Revenge of the Mutant Killer Snowman.” He and Moses previously worked together on the ABC pilot “Spark,” which Cooney wrote and Moses executive produced. The pilot is being filmed in New Orleans, Louisiana beginning mid-March through the beginning of April.
Central Casting in Louisiana has put out an open casting call seeking talent to work as paid background actors and possible featured talent on the series. They are currently seeking the following types:
- COUPLES – Seeking Young, Attractive Males & Females, any ethnicity, Age 20’s to 30’s, to play couples on a Valentine’s Day date at a cafe in a scene. They would prefer REAL couples or people comfortable enough with each other to portray real couples, so the scene will have a more romantic and intimate look and feel. Works 4/16. - PEDESTRIANS: Seeking any ethnicity males and females (18+ years old) to portray French Quarter Pedestrians. This category works 3/14 & 3/15 but you can only work one day. Please include the date of preference in the email.
