A casting call seeking submissions for various roles are now being accepted by Central Casting Louisiana for the upcoming Rob Reiner directed feature film Shock and Awe. The feature will star Woody Harrelson, Jessica Biel, Tommy Lee Jones, Milla Jovovich, James Marsden, Alec Baldwin, Richard Schiff and more. The movie follows Knight-Ridder reporters Jonathan Landay and Warren Strobel, who, after the events of 9/11, meet with their bureau chief John Walcott to get to the bottom of who was responsible. They find that the Bush Administration was trying to tie Saddam Hussein to the terror attacks, even though there was no true evidence to support the claim. As the push for war in Iraq increases, they bring in legendary reporter Joe Galloway to give them the high-level sources to help counter the false narrative of Hussein, al-Qaeda and WMDs. After the invasion, their reporting proves true.
Central Casting Louisiana is currently seeking the following:
- CAFE – Currently casting 20’s-50’s looking Males and Females, 18 years old or older, to portray upscale Cafe Patrons in Washington DC. Must not have worked this show before! Should have business and business casual wardrobe options. Films in New Orleans – Monday November 7th.
