Mark Cuban to Exit ABC’s Shark Tank After Season 16

Dallas Mavericks owner and billionaire businessman Mark Cuban announced Monday that he will be leaving the popular ABC show “Shark Tank” after appearing on the show for 13 seasons.

“This is our 15th year, and next year, our 16th year, is gonna be my last year,” Cuban, 65, shared on the “All the Smoke” podcast. “So I got one more year to go.”

Talking with hosts Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, Cuban stated that “it’s time” for him to move on from the show after joining full-time in 2012 , during which he’s invested at least $29 million in at least 85 companies whose founders appeared on the show.

Despite Cuban’s announcement, ABC has yet to confirm the business mogul‘s departure.
