Open Call Seeking Extras for Disney’s Moana Live-Action Film

Production is currently underway on the upcoming Walt Disney live-action Polynesian favorite feature Moana. There is a lot being kept under wraps right now but what we do know is that filming is taking place in and around the Honolulu, Hawaii area and an open casting call has been announced seeking paid background performers to work on the feature.

The Alessi Hartigan Casting agency is looking for possible new talent to participate in the highly-anticipate Disney movie.

Individuals will have TWO chances this weekend to audition to be a background performer or extra in the new Moana movie, as part of the fictional Pacific Island of “Motunui.”

Time & Date: Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Susannah Wesley Community Center, 1117 Kaili St #3432, Honolulu, HI 96819

Another casting call will be on Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: The Waialua Community Association 66-434 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI 96712
