Casting Call for HBO Max Series Pretty Little Liars: Summer School

The Hudson Valley film commission is currently looking for Hudson Valley, NY locals to play high school students and residents for scenes in the upcoming second season of the HBO Max series “Pretty Little Liars: Summer School”. The slasher teen drama series Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin premiered on July 28, 2022. In September 2022, the series was renewed for a second season, retitled as Pretty Little Liars: Summer School.

The series stars Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Malia Pyles, Maia Reficco, Mallory Betchel, Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Eric Johnson, Alex Aiono, Jordan Gonzalez, and Lea Salongo. Created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring, the new series debuted five years after the original Pretty Little Liars series ended, focusing on new characters in the new fictional town of Millwood, PA and with multiple references to iconic horror movies (think Carrie and the original Halloween). The is produced by Aguirre-Sacasa’s Muckle Man Productions and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Filming will take place in the mid Hudson Valley from April through July 2023. All roles are paid. The casting director is currently seeking the following:

  • POOL PARTY GUESTS – Seeking People, all genders, Ages ages 18-29, any ethnicity to portray Pride Pool Party Attendees. Tentative shoot date: Wednesday June 7th in Newburgh, NY (transportation available from Manhattan). Please put “IG, Pride Pool Party” in email subject line.
  • ROLLERSKATE PARTY GOERS – Seeking Hudson Valley locals Ages 18 to 45 to portray rollerskate party goers. Must be able to skate and be comfortable around strobe lighting. Tentative work date is Tuesday May 16th 2023, transportation will be available from Manhattan. Please put “IG Skate Party” in email subject line.
