A casting call has gone out seeking extras to work on the Universal Pictures M. Night Shyamalan feature film thriller Knock at The Cabin. Set to star are Jonathan Groff, Dave Bautista, Rupert Grint, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Ben Aldridge, Abby Quinn, William Ragsdale, Jerry Lobrow, and McKenna Kerrigan. The film – written, directed and produced by Shyamalan – is loosely based on the Paul Tremblay novel “The Cabin at the End of the World,” which revolves around a home invasion with ramifications that appear to impact the future of mankind.
According to the Philly Voice, filming is taking place in around the Philadelphia suburbs as most M Knight Shyamalan features do and the casting director over at Heery-Loftus Casting is seeking the following to work on the feature as paid background extras photo doubles and possible featured talent:
- SAME SEX COUPLE – Seeking same-sex female couple with a young child (Age 4 to 6). Filming will take place on June 9th 2022.
- CHILDREN – Seeking Children, Ages 5 to 15, any ethnicity to work as background actors. Children of Asian/Chinese descent are encouraged to apply. Filming will take place between April 18th and May 27th 2022. Both the child and parent submitting MUST be fully vaccinated. Must also be available for COVID testing prior to shoot date.
- MALE PHOTO-DOUBLE – Seeking Caucasian or Hispanic Male, 6’4 with athletic build to work as photo-double. Must measure chest 47″, Waist 41″, Inseam 33, Neck 20″, Shoe 14″. MUST be fully vaccinated. Must also be available for COVID testing prior to shoot date. Filming will take place between April 18th and May 27th 2022.
- FEMALE PHOTO DOUBLE– Seeking Caucasian Female, Brunette, Age 18+, Height 5’3, Size 0, Waist 24-25″, Shoe 6 or 6.5. MUST be fully vaccinated. Must also be available for COVID testing prior to shoot date. Filming will take place between April 18th and May 27th 2022.
- MALE PHOTO DOUBLE – Seeking Caucasian Male, Age 18+, Height 5’9, Suit 42R, Waist 38, Inseam 32″, Neck 16″, Shoe size 9. MUST be fully vaccinated. Must also be available for COVID testing prior to shoot date. Filming will take place between April 18th and May 27th 2022.
