Production is now underway on the upcoming Paramount Plus feature film “Jerry and Marge Go Large” which will star Bryan Cranston and Annette Benning. According to Deadline, the film is inspired by the true story of how retiree Jerry Selbee and his wife help revitalize their small Michigan town by playing — and winning — the Massachusetts lottery. The film will be directed by David Frankel with principal production taking place in Georgia.
Landline Pictures, a division of MRC Films, and its leader Amy Baer will also produce. Emmy nominee Brad Copeland (“Arrested Development,” “Wild Hogs”) penned the script for the project, one of several straight-to-service titles in the works at the ViacomCBS streamer.
The casting director is seeking the following to work on the feature as paid background, standins, photo doubles and possible featured talent:
- GOLFERS – Seeking Real golfers with golf experience. Must know how to drive a golf cart. Must own golf clubs. COVID Test Sunday (8/29), Filming Tuesday (8/31).
- COLLEGE STUDENT TYPES – Seeking Males or Females, any ethnicity, must be 18 years of age or older, but appear to be under the age of 23, to play Harvard lecture hall students. Males must be clean shaven. All wardrobe should be nice casual school clothes, think more Ivy league upscale preppy casual. NO VISIBLE TATTOOS (must be covered with make-up or wardrobe).
