Production is currently underway on the upcoming third season of the HBO political drama series Succession. The series follows the Roys, owners of media conglomerate Waystar RoyCo. The family patriarch, Logan Roy , has experienced a decline in health. His four children – removed oldest son Connor, power-hungry Kendall, irreverent Roman , and politically savvy Siobhan – all with varying degrees of connection to the company, begin to prepare for a future without their father, and each begins vying for prominence within the company. The series stars an ensemble cast featuring Hiam Abbass, Nicholas Braun, Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin, Peter Friendman, Natalie Gold, Matther Macfadyen, Alan Ruck Parker Sawyers, Sarah Snook and Jeremy Strong.
The first season received generally favorable reviews from critics. Production on Season 3 was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak and is said to premier later in 2021. Jesse Armstrong serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer on the series, with McKay directing the pilot, which HBO ordered last year.
Filming will be taking place in and around the NYC area and the casting director is currently seeking SAG and NONUNION 20’s to 60’s age range, all genders, and ethnicities for corporate shareholder meeting scenes. Must have upscale, distinguished and business attire.
Roles include:
- GALA ATTENDEES – Seeking Nonunion Men and Women 20s-50s age range, all genders and ethnicities to portray a gala/award ceremony attendees. - CONSERVATIVE/REPUBLICAN CONFERENCE ATTENDEE TYPES – Seeking SAG-AFTRA and Nonunion men and women, Age 20s-70s age range, all genders and ethnicities with appropriate business attire. They need Secret Service types, Model types, Billionaire types, Proud Boy types, Hedge Fund types, Politician types. There will be multiple test and work dates between 3/27-4/7. There will be 2 mandatory COVID tests before your first work date, as well as online training. In your email please confirm you have availability 3/27 thru 4/7 dates. Please do not submit if you are uncomfortable with working in a large group. Marks are required at all times whenever not on camera but not when filming. Tests are provided by production and are paid as a $30 stipend for nonunion. Tests are given in Long Island City, Queens. Production will provide you with an N95 mask.
