Production is set to get underway net month on the NBC drama pilot television series Ordinary Joe. Ordinary Joe According to the network’s show description, Ordinary Joe is written by Russel Friend and Garrett Lerner, will explore the three parallel lives of the show’s main character, Joe Kimbrough after he makes a pivotal choice at a crossroads in his life. Set to star in the series is James Wolk (Mad Men), Natalie Martinez, Charlie Barnett and Teddy Sears.
Filming is set to take place in and around the Chicago, Ill area beginning November 2nd through the 25th of the month. The casting director is looking for people who have open availability to work for the entire pilot. As it stands right now, there will be NO pay for hold dates, but the more dates you are available, the more likely you are to work. They would prefer folks who have open availability to work with us on this project as we navigate the Covid-19 world with testing and bookings. They need people who have the flexibility to work with them, in particular, the following:
- Male, Female, Any Ethnicity, 18 – 65 YRS OLD. Must have graduated high school to submit.
We are looking for people who have open availability to work for the entire pilot. As it stands right now, there will be NO pay for hold dates, but the more dates you are available, the more likely you are to work. Will film on a Monday through Friday schedule. There is a chance that testing may have to happen on a Saturday here and there, but production is working for that not to be the case. For the pilot group, you must have a vehicle to be considered.

1) Confirm you have a POP Profile
2) Include the following information: Name, phone, email, AND a quick photo of your CURRENT LOOK – this current look should match the photo in your POP profile in the slot of CURRENT LOOK: FRONT. The look should represent your current hairstyle/color and facial hair.
3) Confirm that you have open availability during the filming dates (this also means that you are willing to work any hours).
4) Confirm that you are willing to take Covid-19 tests as needed during filming.
5) Confirm that you will comply with all Covid-19 health protocols while working on the pilot, which will include at least the following: wearing a mask issued by the production, social distancing, and good hygiene.
6) Confirm that you are not exhibiting any Covid-19 symptoms.
7) Confirm that you have a vehicle to get to all locations.
8) Did you work the pilot prior to the pandemic shutdown in March (this will not disqualify you)? We recommend that you copy and paste this post, along with your answers in the submission email. Please do not make them track you down for the answers, and keep in mind that those who complete the responses without us tracking them down will have a more likely chance of being cast.
