Filming is now underway in Louisiana on the cult drama series reboot Leverage 2.0. A casting call has gone out seeking various types to work on the series as paid extras, standins and photodoubles. According to Deadline, the series is said to be revived at IMDb TV, Amazon’s free, ad-supported streaming service and will return with actor Noah Wyle as the new lead. Leverage 2.0 marks the first major original series for IMDb TV, whose content team recently moved under the Amazon Studios umbrella. Noah Wyle will be joined by original cast members Beth Riesgraf, reprising her character as “Parker” and also directing an episode; Gina Bellman as “Sophie Devereaux”; and Christian Kane as “Eliot Spencer”– who will all be series regulars — as well as Aldis Hodge, who will return as “Alec Hardison” in a recurring role.
Filming began back in late July in and around the New Orleans, Louisiana areas. All actors must following safety protocols to protect the cast and crew from the coronavirus pandemic. At the preset time the casting director is seeking the following to work on the series. Please read thoroughly and submit only if you are available and okay with production’s requirements.
As a condition of working on set, Background Actors are required to get one PAID COVID-19 test in Metairie, LA prior to any work date(s).
You will receive $25 to get tested, prior to the work date. The test performed is a deep nasal swab. You must test at least 4 business days prior to your work date in Metairie, LA. Production will also require a face mask that covers your nose and mouth to be worn while on set and while at the testing facility.
- BODY GUARDS – Seeking people who appear to be 18-50s male (18+, any portrayable ethnicity) to work as Body Guards for High profile characters at a Mansion Party scene. This is picture picked by the director! Costumes will provide your clothing so you must fit the sizes available: 30-36 waist and 38-44 coat. You will be asked to bring black shoes. Please include in the email, the work day(s) you are available for. WORK DATE RANGE: Tuesday 12/1, Wednesday 12/2, Thursday 12/3, Friday 12/4, Monday 12/7 and Tuesday 12/8. There may be up to 5 days of work, within the date range. You should have flexible availability for multiple work dates. You must test twice, prior to working: Monday 11/23, Tuesday 11/24 OR Wednesday 11/25 in COVINGTON, LA or METAIRIE, LA. AND Monday 11/30 in COVINGTON, LA or METAIRIE, LA. You will receive $40 for testing in Covington and $25 to test in Metairie.
- MANSION PARTY – Seeking people who appear to be 18-50s (18+, any portrayable ethnicity) to work as attendees of a Mansion Party in the south of France. You must be able to provide your own clothing, please view the inspiration photos. Please include in the email, the work day(s) you are available for. WORK DATE RANGE: Tuesday 12/1, Wednesday 12/2, Thursday 12/3 and Friday 12/4. There may be up to 3 days of work, within the date range. The main filming date is 12/2. COVID TESTING: Tuesday 11/24 OR Wednesday 11/25 *AND* Monday 11/30 in COVINGTON, LA. You will receive $40 for your COVID testing day.
