2020 PATRIOTS CHEERLEADERS AUDITIONS
The time has come around again for the 6X champion New England Patriots cheerleader auditions for the 2020-21 season. If you’re interested in joining the squad, come on out to the audition!
Application Requirements:
- 3 photos
– Color or black and white, Size 5 x 7 or larger
– 1 full length, one headshot
– 1 photo should not have photo retouching
– Photos can reflect any outfit (casual, business, formal, swimwear, fitness) - Resume
- $20.00 processing fee (check or MO) made payable to New England Patriots

INTERVIEWS: Promotional Cheerleader candidates will be notified via email as to whether or not they have been selected for an online interview after all packets have been reviewed. Promotional Cheerleader candidates do not attend Preliminary Auditions. If a promotional candidate is not selected for an interview, and they would like to try out for the dance team, they may attend preliminary auditions as a dance candidate. If they do not advance at preliminary auditions, there will not be callbacks for the promotional cheerleader position.
PRELIMINARY AUDITIONS REQUIREMENTS
Date: Saturday, February 29, 2020
Time: 9:30 AM registration.

Preliminary Auditions will be held on one day only. There will not be a make-up date scheduled and we do not accept videotapes in lieu of auditioning. Preliminary auditions are not open for public viewing.
Callbacks: Those not advancing through preliminary auditions will not receive a callback for either the dance or promotional cheerleader position. Those who advance will be notified day of preliminary auditions if they advance as a dance candidate and no promotional cheerleaders will be considered on this day.

- Wear neat work-out attire and sneakers or dance shoes
- Hair and make-up: “glamour” vs. “sporty”

You do not need to cover tattoos or remove piercings for the audition process, however, should you be selected for the Patriots Cheerleading squad, only tattoos that can be concealed by the uniform or makeup are permissible and one pair of post earrings are allowed.
Agenda:
- Freestyle round – we will provide the music day of event
- 1 or 2 dance combinations will be taught
- 40-50 dancers will advance to semi-final auditions
- Online interviews will be arranged
The Patriots Cheerleaders dance team is required to attend a minimum of 2 rehearsals per week. They perform on the sidelines at Patriots home games, participate in public appearances and participate in photo shoots. Each candidate must be at least 18 years of age and be a high school graduate or have a GED by the date of preliminary auditions to participate. There is no age limit or height requirement.
