A casting call has gone out seeking various types for the upcoming live-action sci-fi feature film Ghost Draft. According to Variety, plot details for the project written by Zach Dean, are under wraps for now. Adam Kolbrenner and David S. Goyer will produce, with Dana Goldberg, Matt Grimm, and Don Granger overseeing for Skydance. Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Yvonne Strahovski (Handmaid’s Tale) will star. Chris McKay is attached to direct.
Filming will take place in parts of Atlanta, GA and Iceland and is set to begin in September through January 2020. The casting director is currently seeking the following types to work on the feature as paid background extras and possible featured talent. All roles are paid:
- CIVILIANS – Seeking MEN and WOMEN, Ages 35 to 65 to play CIVILIANS. to work MULTIPLE DAYS in our DRAFTEE SCENES (these are everyday men and women, and there are NOT haircuts). All ethnicities are welcome, Middle Eastern types especially. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Must be healthy, no medical conditions (able to do fast walking, etc…This scene is not that physical, but there is some hustling around, and people need to be good on their feet for this type of scene, with no medical conditions, etc. Works 9/20, 9/24, & 9/25. - SOCCER FAN TYPES – Seeking Men and Women, Ages 18 thru 75 for a World Cup Soccer scene. All ethnicities welcomed. They especially need international types including upscale Egyptian and Brazilian types. Works 9/23. Please put “WORLD CUP” in the email subject line.
- SOCCER COACHES & SECURITY – Seeking Soccer coaches and security types. All ethnicities. Brazilian and French looks especially. Experience as a Coach or Security is a plus but not mandatory. Works 9/23. Please put “WORLD CUP” in the email subject line.
- REAL MILITARY/WEAPON-TRAINED TYPES – Seeking Men & Women with REAL military and/or weapon trained experience. All ethnicities welcomed, Ages 20-55. Men will need to be clean cut/military cuts. - VETERANS & REAL AMPUTEES – Seeking Men & Women, Age 35-65 to play veterans and real amputees for a post-War scene at a support group. All ethnicities welcomed. Works 9/19.
