SEEKING

  • TULLY – Male, All Ethnicities, 20s-30s. He’s a singer-songwriter. A charming, humorous and incredibly sexy womanizer. He’s completely content with the life he’s chosen as the singer/bartender at a tropical resort, until he meets a vacationer who upends his heart. Looking for actors who have an excellent physique. MUST BE ADVANCED GUITAR PLAYER. Tenor.
  • RACHEL – Female, All Ethnicities, mid 20s – 30s.Fully-committed to her job and helping the world. Rachel, an environmental scientist, is not easily distracted from her life-plan. Usually manages to suppress the part of her that enjoys a good time. Intense, super smart, and a loyal friend. Soprano with strong Belt.
  • TAMMY- Female, All Ethnicities, mid 20s-30s.Tammy is best friends with RACHEL. She is cheerful and always ready for a good time. Sees the best in people and has a zest for life that is often squelched by her fiancé CHADD. Her low self-esteem manifests itself as denial in her own life. Seeking plus sized actresses. Soprano with powerhouse Belt.
  • BRICK – Male, All Ethnicities, 30s.A bartender with a beer belly. Oafish with a big heart. Not the brightest but sensitive and thoughtful. Best friends with TULLY. Willing to put himself out there emotionally and able to admit when he’s scared. Bari-Tenor.
  • MARLEY- Female, African-American or Caribbean, late 40s +.No-nonsense and assertive; witty sense of humor. She runs the resort and keeps everyone in check, but cares about her employees and customers. Falls hard for J.D. Is a mother figure to Tully. Speaks with an island accent. Soprano with gospel Belt.
  • J.D. – Male, All Ethnicities, 60s +. A Vietnam war veteran who comes to the island in search of joy and peace. A funny and horny old man who is crotchety yet endearing. He’s losing his vision and his hearing but won’t acknowledge it.  A good-natured drunkard, who is always writing memoirs on bar napkins. Baritone. 
  • JAMAAL/TED – Male, African-American to play Caribbean, 30s.Jamaal: Local islander and employee of Margaritaville.  Works as both the dishwasher and masseuse at the resort. Speaks with an island accent. Ted: A talent agent who scouts TULLY and jumpstarts his career. Bari-Tenor.
  • CHADD/ENSEMBLE – Male, All Ethnicities, late 20s-30s.Engaged to TAMMY. An insensitive, shallow bully. Yet sharply comedic. He is a frat boy type pre-occupied with hockey. He is judgmental and more interested in trying to change his fiancée’s physical appearance than he is in being in a meaningful relationship with her. Ensemble will understudy principal/featured roles. Must be a strong singer and dancer. Bari-Tenor.
  • JESÚS/ENSEMBLE – Male, Latino, late 20s – 30s.He’s just trying to enjoy a tropical island vacation. Grows increasingly frustrated with having his name mispronounced. Will also play one of the GOONS. Ensemble will understudy principal/featured roles. Must be a strong singer and dancer. Bari-Tenor.
  • GOONS/ENSEMBLE – Male, All Ethnicities, late 20s – 30s.Stereotypical hockey fans, who don’t exert the energy to think too hard; idiots. Friends with CHADD who support his bully tendencies. Must be strong singers and dancers. Ensemble will understudy principal/featured roles. Bari-Tenor.
  • FEMALE ENSEMBLE – Female, All Ethnicities, 20s – 40s.To play tourists, island locals, wedding guests and other ensemble characters. Looking for all types, shapes, and sizes. Ensemble will understudy principal/featured roles. Must be fantastic dancers with excellent singing voices.

Seeking: Actors of all types, shapes and sizes who sing and dance well

Men: Sign-in 9:00AM; Dance Calls begin at 10:00AM

Women: Sign-in 1:00PM; Dance Calls begin at 2:00PM
What to Bring: Come dressed, warmed up and ready to dance. Bring sneakers (women bring heels too) and your book in case you are asked to stay and sing. Bring a hard copy Headshot/Resume.
