A casting call has gone out seeking various types for the upcoming HBO limited series based on Stephen King’s latest novel The Outsider. The novel which is set to be produced as a 10-part miniseries with Richard Price scripting, and Jack Bender and Marty Bowen serving as executive producers. Shooting will take place in and around the Atlanta, GA area beginning in February through July 2019.
The casting directors are seeking men and women to work as paid background extras, stand-ins and possible featured talent on the project. At the present time they are currently seeking the following types:
- WAITRESSES & BARTENDERS – Seeking local flavor types for neighborhood bar scene. Any ethnicity, Ages 21 and over. Please list if you have any experience. Works 3/29. Please put “LOCAL BAR” in email subject line.
- HOTEL LOUNGE PATRONS/STAFF – Seeking businessmen and women types. Also seeking clean cut hotel staff and waitstaff. Any ethnicity, Ages 25 and over. Please put “HOTEL LOUNGE” in email subject line. Works 3/29.
- HOTEL DRIVERS – Seeking men and women with their cars

- INMATE FAMILY – Seeking family visitors, any ethnicity, ages 18 and over. Works 4/3. Please put “INMATE FAMILY” in the email subject line.
- MALE INMATES – Seeking men, any ethnicity, ages 18 and over to portray male prisoners. Requires fitting 3/27-29th. Works 4/3. Please put “MALE INMATES” in email subject line.
- GUARDS – Seeking Men and Women to portray guards. Any ethnicity, Ages 25-55. Filming Date: 4/3 or 4/4 (only male guards on 4/4) You will not work both days. Requires Fitting March 27-29th (one day). Please put “GUARDS” in the email subject line.
- PROTECTIVE CUSTODY – Seeking Men, any ethnicity, Age 18 and over to portray prisoners in protective custody. Filming Date: 4/3 or 4/4 (only male guards on 4/4) You will not work both days. Requires Fitting March 27-29th (one day). Please put “PROTECTIVE” in the email subject line.
