Now Casting Season 2 of HBO Series ‘Succession’

A casting call has gone out seeking various types to work on the on Season 2 of the HBO political drama series Succession  The series is described as the saga of the Roys, a fictional American global-media family that is not only rich and powerful but also powerfully dysfunctional and explores family loyalty, international business, and the perils of power in the 21st century. The series stars an ensemble cast featuring Hiam Abbass, Nicholas Braun, Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin, Peter Friendman, Natalie Gold, Matther Macfadyen, Alan Ruck Parker Sawyers, Sarah Snook and Jeremy Strong. The first season received generally favorable reviews from critics. In June 2018, it was announced that the series had been renewed for a second season. Jesse Armstrong serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer on the series, with McKay directing the pilot, which HBO ordered last year.

Filming will be taking place in and around the NYC area and is scheduled to begin at the top of January. The casting director is currently seeking the following to work on the series as background talent and/or featured extras roles:

  • HOTEL STAFF – Seeking NONUNION men, any ethnicity, aged 25-50. Interior work in Manhattan. Must own black pants, white button down shirt, black polished shoes. Works 3/11. Please put “FACEBOOK 3/11 Hotel Staff” in the email subject line.
  • POLITICAL CAMPAIGN STAFFERS/VOLUNTEERS – Seeking NONUNION Caucasian men and women, aged 28-40. Interior work in Manhattan. Please put “FACEBOOK 3/11 Political Staff” in the email subject line.
  • REAL HUNGARIAN FOLK BAND – Seeking NONUNION & SAG-AFTRA, folk band for Hungarian lodge scene. Must be 18+. Work date is tentatively February 20th OR February 21st. Please put “Facebook Hungarian Band” in the email subject line.
  • JAPANESE BUSINESS TYPES – Seeking SAG-AFTRA or NON UNION Japanese men and women to portray business types. Shoot date is TBD, between 1/23/2019 thru 2/1/2019. Please put “FACEBOOK JAPANESE BUSINESS” in the email subject line.

-If you have worked on the show previously
– Include all of your sizes: (male – height, weight, jacket, neck/sleeve, waist x inseam, shoe; female – height, weight, dress, bust, waist, hip, shoe)
-if you own black tie/formal attire, and if so what kind
– Attach a few clear current candid photos of yourself/selfie so we can see your current look, preferably in your black tie/formal attire (ex. gowns, tuxedos, etc.)
