A casting call has gone out seeking talent for the upcoming featrure film Banker. The film stars Samuel L Jackson, Anthony Mackie, Nia Long and Nicholas Hoult. The film centers around an ambitious black man Bernard (Anthony Mackie) working to become the first black banker to build a real estate empire in white L.A. neighborhoods. Nnamdi Asomugha, Jonathan Baker, Joel Viertel, George Nolfi and Anthony Mackie will co-produce the project. Filming is taking place in the Atlanta, GA area.
This is a period piece set in the 1950’s. The casting director is currently seeking the following to work on the film as paid background talent, photo doubles and possible featured talent:
- CONSTRUCTION WORKERS – Seeking Males, Any ethnicity, Ages 18-55, to portray construction workers. Experience is a plus but not mandatory. Works 11/7.
- BBQ RESTAURANT PATRONS – Seeking Males & Females, Any ethnicity, Ages 18-70 to portray BBQ restaurant patrons. Works 11/7.
- TWIN BOYS – Seeking Identical twin black boys, Age 2 or older but must look to be 2 years old. Needed to be portray toddler version of one of the children of the lead family (in a flashback). Works WED 11/7 and THURS 11/8. Must be available both days.
You must live in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area. Travel and lodging is not provided. IMPORTANT NOTES for this film:
– MEN will get a 1963 HAIR CUT (shorter) and the only facial hair acceptable is a mustache unless you are over age 55 (and it will be shaped appropriate to the period).
– WOMEN- hair must be able to be styled in the period. No wigs, and only natural colors for hair. No extensions , etc…
