A casting call has gone out seeking talent to work on the upcoming DC Comics Warner Bros. feature The Joker which is currently going by it’s working title, Romeo. The feature will star Joaquin Phoenix in the title role. In addition to Phoenix, the film will co-star Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Frances Conroy, and Marc Maron. According to Variety, Alec Baldwin was initially tapped to be in the film as Thomas Wayne, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts and has since been replaced with Brett Cullen. Filming will be taking place in NYC, Brooklyn and parts of New Jersey over the next few months. The film is being directed by The Hangover and Due Date‘s Todd Phillips, with executive producers including Martin Scorcese.

All roles are paid. This film is set in 1981 so they need men with a bit of length to their hair. Hair must be a bit over the ears in order to be the right length for the film. No shaved hair on sides & back, no hip present day haircuts, no 1950s haircuts, not too long hair either. Black men must have small- medium afros, no fades, line-ups or edging. No shaved heads! Men must be willing to be clean shaven.
Must be local, over 18 years old and have valid government issued ID to work the film.
