ABC Discovers Digital Talent Competition
Submissions are now being accepted for the 2018 ABC Discovers Digital Talent Showcase. For the second time, the competition is extending over to the United Kingdom as well as the U.S. Now is your chance to showcase your acting talent! The ABC Discovers Digital Talent Competition is about finding fresh voices and original faces for ABC’s scripted programming. If you think you have what it takes to bring a character to life, then they want to hear from you. This is a one night event produced by the ABC Casting department to showcase new talent to an invited industry audience. ABC has a long-standing commitment to promoting diversity in the entertainment industry through a variety of projects administered by the ABC Casting Department. The talent showcase provides an excellent opportunity for talent that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Winners will receive a one-year $25,000 talent deal with ABC (there will be separate winners for the US and the UK competitions. Experience in acting for television, film or theatre is strongly recommended but not required. Those submitting must create your submission by selecting either a comedy or drama scene to perform adhering to the guidelines listed at abcdiscovers.com. Submissions that fail to include all requested elements and follow the guidelines will result in disqualification.
