An open casting call has been schedule for an upcoming feature film to be directed by Spike Lee. The film which is said to be titled Black Klansman, is a thriller based on the true story of Ron Stallworth, a black Colorado detective who infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan in 1978. Spike Lee will direct the film alongside Jordan Peele for Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Blumhouse Productions. Peele and Blumhouse previously partnered on the director’s debut hit horror film Get Out.
Filming will take place in and around NYC and Westchester County beginning October 23rd thru December 14th.
Due to the success of the most recent casting call held for the film in Brooklyn, the casting directors have decided to hold a second one this coming Saturday on October 14th 2017.
They are seeking SAG/AFTRA and NONUNION MEN and WOMEN AGE 18 + who can portray look of 1970’s for the following.
- African American Men and Women with afros and period hair looks of the 1970’s.
- Caucasian Men with long hair/ beards/ mustaches/sideburns and Caucasian Women also with 1970’s period looks.
- Owners of Vintage Cars pre-1978. Bring color photos of any pre-1978 vehicles you own.
- Owners of Vintage motorcycles pre-1978. Bring color photos of any pre-1978 period motorcycles.
Time & Date: Saturday October 14th 2017 for SAG/AFRA 12 NOON – 3PM ~AND~ NON-UNION 1 – 3PM

SAG/AFTRA: Please bring photos of any wardrobe you have from that era.
NON-UNION: Please come in your best 70’s attire and bring photos of any other wardrobe you have from that era.
Please bring a headshot and resume with you if you have one. Please also bring a pen with you to fill out forms and come photo ready as you will have your picture taken.
