An open casting call scheduled for next weekend for the feature film “20th Century Women”.  The family drama feature will star Annette Benning, Greta Gerwig, Billy Crudup, and Elle Fanning.  The film is set in Santa Barbara, Calif. during the summer of 1979.  It tells the story of a mother who’s trying her best to raise her troubled teenage son while looking for answers from two other remarkable women in her life.  Filming is set to take place in Santa Barbara, CA.  Mike Mills will direct.

The casting director is seeking Males and Females 18 years of age or older, all shapes and sizes to work as background actors and extras.  This is a period piece so they are seeking people with natural looks.  They are also seeking Latino Men ages 18-75, who can play migrant workers.  Also, if you have a car from 1979 or older, your vehicle is needed so bring with you to the open call.

Debbie Allen is looking for young singers who can dance ages 8 -12 for her new musical Freeze Frame. Freeze Frame is based on the challenging experiences of young African Americans and Latinos growing up in South Central Los Angeles.  Non-Union.
