Atmosphere Casting of Chicago is currently looking for stand-ins for the upcoming Netflix series “Sense8”. The story follows eight strangers from different cultures and parts of the world who share a violent psychic vision and suddenly find themselves telepathically connected. A mysterious and powerful man named Jonas will try to bring the eight together, while another stranger called Mr. Whispers will attempt to assassinate them. Each episode will heavily feature one character and their story.

The 10-episode “Sense8” began filming in San Francisco last month and will not only shoot in Chicago, but also in Mexico City, London and Berlin, among other places. The show is scheduled to debut in 2015.

The casting director is seeking stand-ins for the series’ stars including Chicago native Daryl Hannah (5’10), Naveen Andrews (5’9), Freema Agyeman (5’3), Jamie Clayton (5’10) and Brian J. Smith (6ft, 40/42R)

They are also seeking extras to play SWAT, military, police, prison inmates, nurses, doctors, medical personnel, and gang members. They are expecting “several large crowd scenes” during filming.
