Casting calls are now going out for the upcoming 20th Century FOX feature The Greatest Showman on Earth. The film is an original musical inspired by the life of P.T. Barnum, and will star Hugh Jackman. Barnum was a visionary who rose from nothing to create the “Greatest Show on Earth,” a circus spectacle and celebration of his larger-than-life imagination that captivated audiences around the globe in 1881. Set to also star are Zac Efron, Zendaya and Michelle Williams. The film is being produced by Chernin Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and is currently scheduled to hit theaters around Christmas 2017.
Production is scheduled to get underway in January and the casting director is seeking actors to play the following roles:
- Non-Union Caucasian Men – Needed to portray Wealthy Upscale Formal Concert Attendees. All men must be clean shaven. Must be ok working around atmospheric smoke. No visible piercings or tattoos or overly modern haircuts. Works 1/19, 1/23, AND 1/24 (you must have full day/night availability for all 3 dates) in the NYC area. This spot is cast to fit. You should be able to fit into a 42 to a 46 jacket. If you do not fit into one these sizes please note if you have your own Tux with tails.
