Casting Call for CMT’s “Nashville”

Casting calls are ongoing for the hit music drama television series, Nashville.  The series premiered on ABC, on October 10, 2012, and had more than 8.93 million viewers. In May 2016, ABC cancelled the show. In June 2016, it was picked up by CMT for a fifth season. On December 1, 2016, it was announced that a preview of episode one will air on December 15, 2016, with the new season recently starting on January 5, 2017.  The series stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere.

The extras casting director are currently seeking the following to work on the series as background talent:

  • BLUES CLUB & BAR PATRONS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 21-45, hip, types who like to hang out in local bars/blues clubs and listen to music. Works TUESDAY 2/7/17.
  • BLUES CLUB WAITRESSES: female, all ethnicities, age range 21-30, attractive, MUST have previous wait staff experience and be able to carry a tray of drinks (*please specify experience when submitting). Works on TUESDAY 2/7/17.

Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hour with an 8 hour guarantee).  You will be paid overtime for anything over 8 hours at time & 1/2.  You will receive a check in the mail usually 14-16 business days AFTER you work. (*WE do not handle payroll so checks are issued from the Production payroll company)
