Production is set to get underway shortly on the upcoming STX Entertainment feature film, Mile 22. A casting call has gone out seeking men and women to make up residents for a fictional town they are creating for the film. According to IMDB, the story follows a CIA field officer and an Indonesian police officer are forced to work together as they confront violent and extreme political corruption. Mark Wahlberg will star and produce with Peter Berg (Lone Survivor). Wahlberg described the project as “an intelligent, adult action film” and said he and Berg want to make the first film as the start of a trilogy. “I still don’t feel like I have the movie, the role, that defines me,” he added.
Filming will be taking place in the Atlanta area beginning in November and will continue through February 2018. The casting director at Central Casting in Georgia are seeking people with Indonesian, Filipino, South American, Cambodian and Mongolian looks to portray background talent and possible featured extra talent on the film. All roles are paid. No experience necessary.
