Now casting equity actors for the upcoming Broadway play, Children of a Lesser God. Based on the 1980 drama about the relationship between a deaf cleaning woman and a hearing teacher. Children of a Lesser God will be revived on Broadway next spring. The production will star Joshua Jackson (best known for television roles in shows including “Dawson’s Creek” and “The Affair”), whom Mr. Green called “a revelation,” and Lauren Ridloff, a former Miss Deaf America, whom Mr. Green called “a sensational find.” Both will be making their Broadway debuts. The revival will be directed by Kenny Leon, a Tony winner for his 2014 revival of “A Raisin in the Sun.”

FRANKLIN, the supervising teacher at the school for the Deaf who takes on a condescending attitude towards his students and staff. Hearing role. Must be proficient in American Sign Language.
